The emergency department at the Gynecology Hospital in Skopje has been completely reconstructed. The works, valued at around 8 million denars, are a donation from the company Alma-M. The hospital director, Bashkim Ismaili, says that patients diagnosed with malignant diseases benefit from the aid. In the renovated facilities, they will undergo microsurgical interventions.
“This is a total reconstruction of the emergency department, a donation that was very significant for us. After this donation, there isn’t a single room in the hospital or for patients that has not been restored,” said Bashkim Ismaili, director of the Gynecology Hospital.

The owner of the company, Muharem Murtezani, believes that the department has now reached the necessary standards to provide quality services.
“This hospital needs this kind of support; births are constantly increasing, so now I believe they have better working conditions and we will enable even better conditions to meet the needs of future patients,” said Muharem Murtezani, owner of Alma-M.
Assistance from the private sector by the same company was provided several years ago in the reconstruction of the operating department. Annually, around 1,400 patients are treated here.
