The time we live and work in is truly challenging…
The crisis in the region and beyond, the lack of liquidity among companies, problems with collecting receivables, unfair competition, parallel imports… these are the current issues we face on a daily basis. But we should view problems as challenges rather than obstacles. We must be flexible and resourceful in today’s world, adapt to new situations and opportunities, find solutions, and discover the right answers.

Parallel trade brings no benefits anywhere — and certainly not in our country.
Parallel imports have always existed and will continue to exist. However, with the stabilization of supply and demand, the introduction and control of fiscalization, and the growing awareness among clients who do not wish to operate in the gray market — aware of the negative impact smuggling has on the state — the situation is improving. As far as I know, fiscalization in our country is more advanced than in Kosovo, and I believe that in such an environment, opportunities for smuggling are reduced to a minimum. The trend in our country suggests that even the few remaining exceptions will soon disappear.

The only way for us traders to protect ourselves from parallel imports is by offering top-tier service, quality goods, fair prices, and by doing so, leaving no room for compromise. That is exactly what we at “Alma-M” strive to do consistently.

“Alma-M” is a company whose core business is the import and distribution of global consumer brands.
Our story began back in 1991, and after 23 years, we continue to add new successful chapters. The secret lies in sensing the pulse of the times and the economic conditions in which we operate, adapting in time to new circumstances, and finding solutions for the challenges that arise.

To minimize costs and product prices – we optimize logistics.
Because for a product to be successful and sell well, three pillars are necessary: price, marketing, and distribution.

What all of us in the trade sector should do is follow global trends — align with the new ways of management and encourage creativity for better service and communication with customers.
